Terry Reisman, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at OB/GYN Associates of Miami in Miami, Florida, who’s dedicated his entire career to serving the health needs of women.
Dr. Reisman earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville and received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. Next, Dr. Reisman completed his internship and a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. A Major in the United States Air Force, Dr. Reisman also served in the Medical Corps at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, South Carolina.
During the course of his career, Dr. Reisman has held several prominent leadership positions, including President of the International Correspondence Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, President of the Medical Staff at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, and Chairman of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Baptist Hospital of Miami.
Dr. Reisman proudly holds membership in the Florida Medical Association and the William A. Little Obstetrical and Gynecological Society. He’s also a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
With a stellar reputation as a gynecologist, Dr. Reisman enjoys caring for his patients and getting to know them. He has earned several awards during the course of this career, including “Best Doctor-Patient Relationship” by the Florida Medical Association, the Community Service Award from the Baptist Hospital Foundation, and an award from the University of Miami’s John K. Robinson Anastasia Society for Leadership in Medical Education.
In his personal life, Dr. Reisman is an active member of Temple Beth Am. He’s been married for more than 52 years and has three adult children.
